“For the love of Christ compels us…” – 2 Corinthians 5:14. This starting point puts the responsibility on us as believers to go deep in prayer to get filled with the Word and Spirit of God (Romans 5:5). If we try to start with methods and programs our good intentions will soon become dilapidated with frustration. However this is where most believers in the body of Christ sit today. They feel defeated, weakened, and are left wondering why they are not seeing fruit from the gospel. From here most retreat back into the caves of “church life”, withdrawn from the fight of faith, like caged tigers who have become domesticated from living a safe life behind the four walls of the church.
