Jesus makes it very clear for us, in order to follow you must leave. Leave your hopes, dreams, aspirations and desires and follow Him and pick up his desires and agenda. It is impossible to follow Christ and still have one foot in the world. In order to be a biblical disciple there must be a laying down of ones life in order that you might receive new life which is only found in and given by Christ.
